Mobile Legends is a MOBA-based mobile game published by Moonton that is played online. Mobile Legends is a MOBA game designed for cellphones. The two squads of 5 people each struggle to reach and destroy the enemy's base while defending their own base to manage the 3 passages, known as the "upper","middle" and "base" roads, which connect to each base.
In each squad, there are 5 players who set their own avatar, known as "hero", from their own features. Weak PC-controlled personalities called "minions", who lodge in squad bases then spread out across the 3 streets and fight towers and any enemies that get in their way. Collecting EXP is useful for increasing the level of heroes during the game.
Basically, characters in Mobile Legends are divided into 6 positions (roles), including: marksman, fighter, tank, mage, assassin and support. Each position has unique specialties and skills. The total number of heroes as of November 2021, both on authentic servers (original servers) and advanced (advanced servers) is 107 heroes.
Moonton regularly collaborates with countries in Southeast Asia which are their market share with the most Mobile Legends players in the world by creating new characters with historical backgrounds or the folklore of each country to increase the attractiveness of the game. The characters originating from this collaboration are Lapu-Lapu (Philippines), Minsitthar (motivated from Kyansittha; Myanmar), Kadita (motivated from Nyi Roro Kidul; Indonesia), and Badang (Malaysia).
